He will explore who gets to shape our understanding of history, the responsibility involved in telling stories drawn from real lives, and how filmmakers can create work with both artistic purpose and social impact. The conversation will also consider the film’s legacy and what its themes of resistance, courage and freedom mean today, followed by questions from the audience.
